Project Overview
Pano is an AI-assisted social place discovery and itinerary planning platform designed to help people move from inspiration to action with less friction. The project focused on establishing a clear UX foundation across discovery, maps, itineraries, and AI-assisted planning. The work simplified how people decide where to go and what to do, while defining scalable interaction patterns and guardrails to support social context, time-aware planning, and future personalization.

The solution involved an evidence-based redesign of the Heycollab platform, transforming it into an AI-assisted collaboration workspace for distributed teams. The human-centered UX/UI approach focused on embedding intelligent assistance directly into core workflows, including task creation, prioritization, communication, and time tracking. Accessibility-first design and secure data handling standards were treated as baseline requirements. This systematic effort improved execution clarity, reduced workflow friction, and supported strong customer retention and sustained adoption across creative agencies and SMB teams.
UX Strategy Roadmap
This UX strategy roadmap shows how I guided Pano from early insight to a scalable product foundation while maintaining alignment across design, product, and engineering. The work began with research, combining interviews, competitive audits, and stakeholder input to identify where people struggle with discovery, decision-making, and planning.
From there, the focus shifted into UX and UI design. I defined the information architecture, mapped core flows across discovery, maps, and itineraries, and validated key paths through low- and mid-fidelity wireframes before moving into polish. Implementation emphasized clear handoff, QA, and AI guardrails to keep recommendations explainable and user-controlled, with ongoing feedback informing iteration and personalization over time.
The design philosophy centered on reducing decision friction without removing user agency.
